There isn't a beach in the area that doesn't deserve to be visited.

They are all imbued with that wild and rocky spirit, tough but charming that is typical of the area, loved by Sardinian tourists, chased and desired by foreigners. A natural inlet that you absolutely must visit if your travels take you near Arbatax is Cala Sisine.

Cala Sisine beach, with an unusual and rhythmic name, it is a small pearl set in the now famous gulf of Orosei and can be reached from the sea through the use of private boats, although there are many motor boats that organize guided excursions along the coast. Excursions that include a fundamental and inevitable stop in the wonderful Cala Sisine. They normally depart from the small ports of Cala Gonone, Arbatax and Santa Maria Navarrese. However, the beach can also be reached on foot (percorso un po’; difficult). The spectacular cliffs of Serra Ovra are wonderful and you can admire them upon your arrival.

They exceed 500 meters in height and descend very steeply into the sea, like rocky waterfalls.

It is also flanked by two rocky ridges, which give the place a singularly impervious and untamed appearance, enhanced by the beautiful forest that fearlessly overlooks the cobalt sea, which excels in beauty with the clear sky. The beach is made up of large limestone grains, white as snow and smoothed by time, from the sea and the wind. The backdrops, they take up the rugged stretches of the beach and do not disappoint, rich as they are in flora and fauna.

There are quite a few diving enthusiasts who come to the area to admire the underwater world offered by Cala Sisine. On the beach there is a bar and a small refreshment point, where you can eat quick, fresh meals while waiting for the return of the frequent ferries that connect the lido to the tourist ports. Just a few kilometers away from the natural wonder you can find hotels and inns, bed and breakfast e agriturismi, who will surprise you with their hospitality and courtesy. The last minute offers offered to tourists are excellent, which have the effect of making a holiday in Sardinia even more desirable.

For those who wish, it is possible to rent houses or spend their holiday in one of the numerous campsites that you can find in the area.
